they slaughter us
and if we should turn
a backlash untamed
shall emit from their hands and their tongues
unending hordes
are headed towards
inevitable destruction
they look us in the eye
one final glimpse,
an introspection to our soul
will we extend our hands
or turn away?
the day will come
the whip will turn
the oppressed
will be free

when can the torturer object?
a desperate skeleton overcomes
the scarves degenerate
the meat dominates the drivel
an author writes beside the poem
an unconvincing spectre underlies this transformed ascent

this horse has been beat to death!
the mountains were a lie!
it's all been for not,
the promises I built my life on
were as hollow
as these bones soon will be
i remember everything, my love.
